H. Danny Weaver, D.O., FACOFP

Dr. Weaver is a longtime Orlando resident having moved here in 1963 as just a child. He grew up in the Audubon Park neighborhood where his family had a home and his father practiced family medicine. Dr. Weaver, after finishing college, wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a doctor. In 1984 he graduated from the University of Health Sciences with the degree of Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) and began his training in family medicine at Orlando General Hospital (now Florida Hospital East Orlando). Following completion of his training, Dr. Weaver opened his practice of Family Medicine at its current location with the desire to not only bring affordable healthcare to the community but also to provide service to its constituents. In 2009 Dr. Weaver took a three-year leave of absence to return to his medical school in Kansas City and serve as its President and Chief Executive Officer during a very tumultuous and delicate period. Upon successful completion of his work in Kansas City Dr. Weaver returned to Orlando to resume his medical practice and service to his community.
